...Mule years...

According to the vets who helped Pfizer Animal Health prepare a chart on "horse years", a horse ages 6.5 years for each human year from birth to puberty. Once a horse reaches age four, the rate slows to 2.5 years for each human year.

Donkeys are known for their longevity, often reaching the 30's...so we can only assume that you can use the Pfizer estimates less a few months to figure out how mule ages.

Tori Thompson was an accomplished artist, also known as Editor of the American Mule Association's publication MULES for several years which she did a BEAUTIFUL job with!

As Noted in February 2003 Tack N Togs magazine.
Now I know why I feel such an affinity for Roy Rogers! According to a 1995 Red Steagall interview with Roy, his first "horse" was a mule! Look for more photos and articles about Brad Cameron Mulemanship clnics and his educational dvds and videos available.
